Debute

Richard started playing football in 2014. This was his first experience with the sport, not knowing it even existed in the Netherlands. He started playing for his highschool Football team "The CSB Eagles", a team that had just started that year. Although being one of the smallest players on the team, Richard stood out due to his athletic capability and becoming a real threat both on offense as on defense.

Succes

In his second year Richard was selected for the Dutch under 19 National Team where he became a first string cornerback. Now 3 years later Richard still plays for the Dutch national team as a starter and a real threat to every country's passing game.

This year Richard had the opportunity to play in the PPI All Star Game where he dominated on both sides of the field. Click here to see his performance during the game.
